The Vice President of Ghana, Dr. Alhaji Mahamudu Bawumia, made a generous donation to the Yagbonwura and the entire Gonjaland community in support of the maiden Damba celebration of Yagbonwura Biikunuto Jewu Soale I. The donation, which took place on September 29th, 2023, was a demonstration of the Vice President's deep respect and admiration for the Yagbonwura, whom he considers as a father figure.

The donation was presented by Mr. Musah Kusubari Karim, the Municipal Chief Executive of the West Gonja Municipal, on behalf of the Vice President.
